Street art refers to artistic creations produced in a public space, usually without formal authorisation.

Their engagement with these forms doesn’t signify an opposition to traditional art – rather, it underscores their appreciation for the freedom inherent in public art, liberated from the constraints of societal judgement.
While contemporary graffiti primarily centres on 'tagging' and text-based themes, street art embraces a wider spectrum of creative expression. Street art operates within a realm devoid of rigid regulations, allowing for boundless creativity. Nevertheless, typical materials and methods encompass fly-posting (also referred to as wheat-pasting), stencilling, stickers, freehand drawing, and even video projections.
